All players should be disciplined and always show courtesy and sporting spirit, no matter how ambitious they may be. In Mondsee we attach particular importance to this true spirit of the game.
In addition to official golf rules and etiquette, also observe our course rules including time of play and our dress code. You will be supported by our marshal and starter, who will gladly help you with any questions.
Golfrules
- For guests playing on the course is not allowed without prior registration in the Pro Shop.
- Tee times are given daily from 7.00 am to 3.00 pm.
- From 3.10 pm the order is regulated by the insertion of a ball in the device provided (ball spiral, per flight one ball) or by the starter on the first tee – first come, first served.
- The game should basically only be started on the first tee.
- Single players must give priority to each other group. This also applies to the first tee.
- Only marked tees may be used.
- Softspikes only.
- Each player has to use his own golf bag.
- Thunderstorm: Interruption in case of lightning is the responsibility of the player.
- Dogs are only allowed in the restaurant area.
- Playing several balls at the same time (practicing on the round) is not allowed.
- Driving range balls (practice balls) may not be used on the course.
Local rules
For additional local rules see the notice board in the clubhouse.
- The lake "Drachensee" (hole 9, 15, 16, 17, 18) is defined as a red penalty area. The edge of the mown area defines the margin of the penalty area.
- Hole 9 and 15: As an additional option to rule 17.1 a ball may be dropped in the droparea under penalty of one stroke.
- Maximum playing time for 9/18 holes: 2 hours 15 minutes / 4 hours 30 minutes
Etiquette
Please not the Golfetiquette:
- Proper golf attire is required.
- Ensure that your mobile phone is on silent mode or - even better - turned off.
- No trollies on the tees, fringes, greens and between bunker and green.
- It is your responsibility to keep up with the players ahead of you at all times.
- Replace divots.
- Repair pitch-marks and bunkers.
- Please obay starter and marshals at all times.
Dresscode
The Golfclub Am Mondsee expects appropriate clothing on the golf course.
Golfcart
Eight golf carts are available for our members and guests, which you can reserve for your round of golf. Please observe the guidelines given - depending on the weather and space conditions.
The renter is liable for any damage to the vehicle.
The rental is for the duration of a game round 9 or 18 holes.
The golf cart may only be driven by persons who have completed the age of 16 and is for max. two adults and two golf bags allowed. Any additional load is prohibited.
